What Happens In Your First Appointment

  1. Consult: Understand your health history, nutrition symptoms, medications and supplements, food preferences, lifestyle and goals.

  2. Assess: Usual food and fluid intake, meal timing, and your estimated nutrition requirements.

  3. Plan: Together, create a practical nutrition plan that fits in with your lifestyle, goals and needs.

  4. Progress: Review progress, build your nutrition knowledge, adapt the plan and celebrate success!

Nutrition That Works With Your Physiotherapy And Exercise Physiology

Nutrition is one of the levers that decides how well rehabilitation goes. Soft tissue injuries need adequate protein and energy for tissue remodelling. Bone injuries need calcium, vitamin D and protein for mineralisation. Training and return to sport need carbohydrate availability, protein distribution across the day, and sensible hydration.

Because our dietitian works in the same practice as your physiotherapist or exercise physiologist, your nutrition plan is built around the rehabilitation you are already doing, not separately from it.

Referrals, Medicare, Health Fund Rebates and NDIS.
