How to prepare for the Tradies S2S

Physio Focus is proud to be an official Physio Partner of the Tradies S2S in 2022. While we have had 2 years of disappointment (understandably cancelled due to Covid) we are so excited to see members of The Shire and our direct patients participating in this awesome community event. It’s fun, its being part of community and it’s also a great way to test your fitness and running ability across 11kms.

Whether you’re aiming to do a new PB, it’s your first long distance run or it may in fact be your first ever fun run with a friend, preparation is key to avoiding any potential injury. Whatever your game day tactic, make sure you prepare, and the time is now. July 17 will be here before you know it.

It’s important to keep in mind that we all run at different speeds with different actions, and that’s ok. But if running is causing pain and making it not enjoyable then it’s time to get it sorted. The team at Physio Focus is dedicating their time to supporting runners all around the Shire in their quest to dominate their own personal bests!

Through our running assessment, our experts can identify areas of your running technique that can be improved to reduce injury risk, enhance performance, and improve energy efficiency. If you want to maximise your performance on race day you should seriously consider booking in for a running assessment.

So, whether it’s treatment, a strength program, running assessment or a running plan, our team has you covered.

Book in for a running assessment with our experts, Harry, Luke and/or Karl, and we will get you on track to achieve your best for the Tradies S2S 2022. It’s all for fun but we want you to be feeling your absolute best.
